    Jag introducerades för kaffe, kaffe på riktigt, kaffe med ett ursprung. Kom från en värld av vin och smak. Vin med en historia, spårbarhet och god kvalitet. Jag serverade en kaffe Tvålpalastet, en espresso för 10 kr som fick betyget 8 av 10 från DN på stan. Det var min första utmärkelse, mitt första betyg på att kaffe med ett ursprung kan uppskattas av det Svenska folket.  Resan gick vidare då vårt kontor blev till kaffebar, kontoret som idag är en av väldens bästa kaffebarer.   • Say hallo to Workye Shallo

    Workye Shallo, Yirgacheffe EthiopiaYirgacheffe is known for its complex, floral and acidic coffees. Workye Shallo is running this farm, with support from her son and other family members, in the most interesting area in Yirgacheffe, called Wakesa, with altitudes up to 2000 meters above sea level. Normally the coffee cherries from this farm and other farms in the area would be blended at the wet mills with cherries from hundreds of other farmers.   • Back to work, back coffee.

    Finally this long vacation is over. Back to work, back coffee, right now we are going through a change of coffee. Within the next couple of days the new project from Ethiopia will start - One farmer, One roaster. We have done the sample roasting and the results are amazing.  Tekle Mammo has grown coffee all his life.     For months we have waited, discussed designed our now coffee bag. It became a box. A bag in box. A lot of our retailers had complains about the bags lack of ability to stand by itself, not able to stack on each other and not being a box. Its all fixed now.     Took some time off, midsummer celebration all over sweden. Wedding fever both for me and the royal princess. What Chris and Madde missed out on was a Ethiopian washed typica variety called Wote.
