Here in Stockholm, we are humble to receive the award. Drop Coffee a micro roastery that is independently owned. Since nine years, we do not do blends and roast to present the fruity, sweet, vibrant flavours in the coffee. Visit from Hunkute, Sidama Union
We're now releasing the coffee from Hunkute from Sidama Union in Ethiopia. It's a coffee we've been working with for many years and visited several times together with our green coffee source in Ethiopia, Nordic Approach. A few days back we had Tsegaye Anebo, manager of Sidama Union. At the top there is some picture, taken by our head of retail Jesper Hedlund. We were roasting the very first batch of Hunkute together and had a meeting about the general updates and the future. We're getting some comments on our cups at the shop not being the traditional espresso cups, some positive, some not so. So I figured that I should write a few lines about that. Drop Coffee Shop re-opening
Since 2009 we’ve been serving coffee behind the same counter that was hand built by ourselves. We came to a point where we wanted to step up a level; for the atmosphere for our guests and the working space for our baristas and to match the Drop Coffee brand even more. We took help from the the loveliest and talented architects Mårten Lindgren and Jennifer Lindstedt at Moodus (also having their own café called AB Café at Telefonplan).
